About the Chairperson
        
Associate Professor Yao Shuntian (PhD, UCLA) is the Director of Master of Arts in Contemporary China (MACC) programme.

A/P Yao is a senior faculty of the School who has published widely in the fields of Economic Theory and more recently his research has focused on China’s economic reforms.  Among his publications have included major Journals such as Journal of Economic Theory, The Economic Journal, Regional Science, and International Review of Economics and Finance among others.
