Born in Nanjing china, Weining C. Chang was educated in Taiwan (BA, Law, National Taiwan University) and the United States of America (MA & PhD, Psychology, University of Houston). Her interests in culture and psychology have brought her for further training in Harvard University and the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. Using a blend of anthropological and psychological methodologies, she has conducted research in the conceptualization and assessment of various personality constructs and processes. Her more recent research projects have been in mental health and subjective wellbeing, resilience and achievement motivation and goals.
