Tania has gained extensive experience in the field of disability, she worked with the Spastics Society of Northern India in their Rural Community based Rehabilitation Programme, The Adult training Programme, Inclusive education and Early intervention. She actively participated in raising awareness in parents' groups and information dissemination in the rural community.

While at NTU, she intends to complete her doctorate in Singapore alongside her teaching duties.

Her hobbies are Music, Performing Arts and Painting.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
December 2003: Certified Lecturer
Passed the National Educational Test conducted by the University Grant Commission for eligibility for Lectureship in Universities in India.

RESEARCH INTERESTS
Tania's research interests lie in the fields of positive psychology, disability related issues, intercultural competence and socio-emotional groups. Her doctoral work is an intervention study examining the effects of certain non-threatening interventions on the communication and relationship patterns within the family setting.

2004 Till Present: PhD Candidate

Currently pursuing a PhD in Psychology from the University of Delhi; research topic being "Enhancing the Quality of Family life using Group and Family Intervention Techniques".

2001-2003: Masters in Applied Psychology, University of Delhi

Secured 1st division in both years.

1999-2001: Jesus and Mary College, University of Delhi

Subject: B.A. (Hons) Psychology: Secured 1st division in all three years.
