The Centre for Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (CLASS) together with the Division of Economics and Division of Psychology at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is organising an international symposium on Decision Science in Singapore on 12 and 13 August 2010. The symposium is a multi-disciplinary event where scholars working on decision sciences can come together to present, discuss and exchange ideas and to foster inter-disciplinary collaborative research projects. We invite scholars in all areas of decision making (including mathematics, psychology, business and economics) to participate in this event. Theoretical, empirical, experimental and applied papers are sought from the following areas (including but not exclusive to):

        1. Game Theory

          -Cooperative and Non-cooperative Games
          -Mechanism Design
          -Voting Games
          -Computational Game Theory

        2. Economics and Business

          -Behavioural and Experimental Economics
          -Analysis of Collective Decision-Making
          -Information, Knowledge, and Uncertainty
          -Firm Objectives, Organization, and Behaviour

        3. Psychology

          -Behavioural Sciences of decision making
          -Decision making under risk and uncertainty
          -Group vs. Individual Decisions

        4. Complexity and Bounded Rationality

      Applied papers with an emphasis on decision science and the effect on public policy making would be most welcomed.  Cross disciplinary papers are highly encouraged.

      Submission Details

      The first page of the paper should contain the title, authors' names, affiliations, addresses, telephone numbers, fax numbers and e-mail addresses.  The abstract should not exceed 250 words and should contain at least three (3) keywords and the JEL codes (if applicable).
